This archive contains the equivalent of NetKeys, but for use with ParNet.
The archive should contain the following:
pnetkeys.doc (what you are now reading)
pnetkeys (runs on the local machine)
mouse-handler (runs on the remote machine)
mountlist (for mouse-handler)
For those who are not aware, NetKeys is a set of programs for use with Matt
Dillon's DNET networking software that allow the input from the keyboard and
mouse of one Amiga to be sent to second Amiga. It is as if the keyboard and
mouse was attached to the other Amiga (or CDTV).
To install: On the remote Amiga (the one that receive the keyboard/mouse
events) install mouse-handler in the L: directory and append the mountlist to
the one found in DEVS:. On the local Amiga put pnetkeys somewhere in the
command path.
To use: First, ParNet must be running between the two machines. On the remote
machine either type or have executed in the startup-sequence the command
mount mouse:
Then on the local machine enter the command
run >nil: pnetkeys
A little window will open. To redirect keyboard and mouse input to the remote
machine type Left-Amiga P. Type it again to return input to the local machine.
To exit pnetkeys, hit the window's close box.
